Heat Map Question
Heat Map Question
The heatmap visually displays the distribution of respondents' clicks on an image, helping researchers quickly identify areas of interest. It not only records click locations but also analyzes click frequency, density, and more, providing multi-dimensional data support. It is suitable for various scenarios such as advertising effectiveness testing, product design optimization, and user experience research.
When used, the image heatmap question presents an image to the respondent, prompting them to click on areas of interest. The question supports multiple hotspot selections, and the system calculates all respondents' click data to generate a heatmap showing their areas of focus. Through the heatmap, it is possible to precisely identify which areas of the image attract the most attention, aiding in the optimization of design or content layout.

Option
The options for the heatmap image question do not have specific meanings. When respondents click on the image, the system will correspond the clicks to the points of interest according to the order of the options and cyclically record the distribution data of these points. For example, if the options are set as A, B, and C, the first three clicks by a respondent will correspond to A, B, and C, respectively. During the fourth click, the data for the first click (A) will be automatically replaced, and the cycle will continue in this manner.
After the respondent completes the survey, the heatmap result is as illustrated below:
