Weighting

Creating a Weighting Scheme

  • Raked (Marginal Target): Also known as iterative proportional fitting or random iteration. It is suitable when you need to adjust the sample population to represent the target population but do not know the proportions of multiple characteristic groups.
  • Cell-Based Weighting (Dynamic Interlocking Response): The weighting does not overlap. You specify target percentages for each response group totaling 100%.
  • Static Weighting (Interlocking Response): The weighting does not overlap. You specify weights or multipliers to be applied to each response group.
